Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Loquare collects and uses data.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
Loquare collects anonymous aggregate usage statistics to help community administrators understand how their local platform is being used and to demonstrate platform value.
The following events are recorded:
- Homepage views
- Chat queries submitted (count only — no query text is stored)
- Unanswered queries — when the assistant cannot answer a question, the query text is stored so community administrators can identify content gaps and improve their local information
- Flyer uploads by administrators
- Events published by administrators
Each event record contains:
- Tenant identifier (which community the event occurred on)
- Event type (e.g. Query, HomepageView)
- Timestamp
- An anonymous session identifier (a random cookie value with no link to any user account or personal data)
- Detected language (e.g. "en", "fr"), if available from browser headers
- General geographic region resolved from IP address (city/country level), if determinable — the IP address itself is not stored
- For unanswered queries only: the text of the question asked
Query text is only stored when the assistant cannot answer. Answered queries are counted but the content is never stored. Unanswered query text is stored so community administrators can spot gaps in local information and take action to address them.
Usage data is used solely to:
- Help local administrators understand community engagement (e.g. peak usage times, query volumes)
- Enable the platform operator to demonstrate aggregate statistics to prospective new communities
This processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. It is retained for the lifetime of the tenant's account and deleted on account closure.
